Seefeld winter hiking trails
| Möserer Valley circuit: From the World Championship hall, proceed along the cleared path next to the cross-country skiing run, walking south-west to the Möserer Strasse and crossing to the shady edge of the forest. Continuing to hug the cross-country run, go uphill to the end of the ski jump, and – at the valley station for the Gschwandtkopf lift – go to the left across the bridge back to the World Championship hall. 3/4 hrs Seefeld-Mösern: Because it’s so sunny, this is probably the most popular forest trail in the vicinity of Seefeld. It starts at the carpark of the World Championship hall, and proceeds from Marker 2 to the Möserer Straβe (slightly downhill). Next to the cross-country run, the trail than passes Heustädeln and continues uphill. It then goes slightly downhill through the Birkenwald (Bänke), passing above the Möserer Höhe until reaching a signpost. You then take the short paved road downhill to the Möserer Strasse, and take this road into the village. Return to Seefeld by bus. 1 hour Seefeld-Mösern-Lottensee-Wildmoossee-Seefeld: 3 1/2 hours Seefeld – around the Wildsee: Don’t forget to bring birdfood and nuts for the birds and squirrels! 3/4 hour | Seefeld-Wildsee-Auland and back: 1 hour Seefeld-forest trail to Reith: Return by train 1 1/4 hours Seefeld-Lehenwald-Triendlsäge (inn): Partially shaded valley hike 2 hours Hiking trails on the Gschwandtkopf: Take the Seefeld-Mösern winter hiking trail until the Möserer Höhe, and then take the pleasant, slightly uphill trail past the mountain lift station to Gschwandtkopf. You will descend by chair lift, since the footpath leading down to the Seekirchl is very steep.
